One way the body keeps microbes from entering the body is by the skin, the skin is considered a barrier. That is why when a person gets an injury that breaks the skin the first layer of defence is considered broken. Also the hair and mucous mucus in a persons nose prevent microbes from entering by trapping them .

^ Thats all a lie.

This is not a lie at all. It is a very truthful and precise answer, I should know; I am a doctor!!

The cilia (which mean eyelash in latin) in your lungs helps to filter particles so they don't go further. The tiny hairs in your nose do the same. Flagella do a similar function to protect the body.
