Well, so far its raised the total population from a few million to seven billion.
If plants and animals disappeared, there would be no food. Humans would possibly turn to cannibolism (Agh, I know I misspelled that) and that would simply drive the population down even faster. Bio-diversity is necessary because without it, we will STARVE. I think it's fairly obvious why it should be conserved. It should be conserved because it is necessary. Duh.
The atmosphere, the ocean, and the terrestrial biosphere.Carbon can be found in the earths oceanic and continental crust in different types of stones as well as in the soil from the decay of organic matter.
Food chains and ecosystems are like a web. For example, a certain type of butterfly in Africa feeds on the dung of leopards. If the leopards die out, the butterflies will either die out or become weaker. If that happens, animals that eat those butterflies also are affected. Many, many creatures on earth are endangered for so many reasons, Pollution, Hunting, etc. But eventually, if too many species become extinct, humans may also die out. If cows, pigs, sheep and other meat sources die out, what would we eat? We need protein, which is found in meat and fish to be healthy. Also, if cows and goats died, what dairy products would we eat? We need all these spectacular, wonderful species to live, as all of them connect together, and to us. Break to many parts of Earth's web, and that will be the end. Hope i didn't scare you too much. But, anyway, this is all true. Please think about it and try your best to save planet earths biodiversity.
There are many including food and water supply but technology has allowed us to move resources from where they occur naturally to where we choose to live. Technology and our ability to support a population larger than a hunter gather population is based on energy use. Assuming we can control the many extinction threats we will reach a limit when we achieve a Type I level of civilization. This occurs when we are able to harness (or use) all of the suns power that reaches the earths surface. At that point we will have to begin working on a Type II civilization and try to harness all the power of the sun.
The tropical rainforest biome covers most of the land mass near Earth's equator. This biome is characterized by high temperatures, abundant rainfall, and dense vegetation, supporting a wide variety of plant and animal species.
Well, so far its raised the total population from a few million to seven billion.
Seasons would be affected by a change in the earth's rotation. As many animal's breeding cycles are based on the season, some animals could stop breeding altogether.
Population: Werewolves: 15 percent of earths population Vampires: 45.2 percent of the earths population Humans: 2 percent of the earths population wookies: 1 percent of the earths population witches and warlocks: 5.8 percent of earths population Actual real animals (you know normal stuff): 31 percent of the earths population
yes MOST animals use the earths magnetisim,But lots of other animals do not.
The cheetah from the plains of Africa
food decrease
About 1.1 billion
New York City
The Earth's population is in excess of 6 billion
The earths population is 6.3 billion and if you double that it would equal 12.6 ______________ World population is about 7.2 billion, and if you double that you hopefully don't get the population of anything at all, as numbers are projected to peak well below 14.4bn.
zero humans will go extinct by than
they take plants and animals to the lab and experiment
