Well what happens is, when you have your period you are shedding the egg like case that the baby would have been born in but without a man that baby can't grow. So it's good to have your period to know that you aren't pregnant.

What happens to the sperm when you get your period?

Sperm cannot survive in the acidic environment of the vagina for long periods. During menstruation, the shedding of the uterine lining carries away any sperm that may have entered the reproductive tract.

Pattern of evolution where a species is stable for a long time then rapidly changes?

Punctuated equilibrium is a model of evolution in which species exhibit long periods of stasis, where little change occurs, punctuated by brief periods of rapid change. This theory suggests that most evolutionary change happens over relatively short periods of time during events like speciation.

When does a period occur?

it happens from the age of 11 and late periods form 14 years

What happens during punctuated equilibrium?

Punctuated equilibrium is a theory in evolutionary biology that suggests long periods of stability in species are interrupted by rapid periods of change due to significant environmental shifts. During these rapid changes, new species may arise relatively quickly compared to the overall stability of the species. This theory contrasts with the gradual change proposed by traditional evolutionary theories like Darwin's theory of natural selection.

The theory that evolution occurs during short periods of rapid change is puntuated?

The theory that evolution occurs during short periods of rapid change is punctuated equilibrium. This theory suggests that most species remain relatively unchanged for long periods, with bursts of significant change happening over short periods of time. This contrasts with the gradualism theory, which proposes that evolution occurs at a slow and constant rate.
