I have seen it happen in person and actually I never noticed anything at all except they can be real good at avoiding a flyswatter. If you were looking for what is going on in the flys mind once it lands on a human science just has not gotten there yet! People have noticed a couple of flys do a little "hand Washing" gesture. While others seemed to enjoy the game of tormenting us or landing in our juice glasses. (not actually proven YET) Most other events that you may be thinking about are pure coincidence, like fly lands Grandpa dies spirit in the room stuff. I guess until science catches up with the activity of the fly we will continue to guess! Great question though!
When a fly lands on you, it may be looking for food, warmth, or shelter. It may also be attracted to any scent or moisture on your skin. If you try to swat it away, the fly may quickly fly off and find another spot to land.

There are typically more germs on a house fly than on a human hand. House flies can carry and transmit a variety of pathogens by landing on and feeding on organic materials. In comparison, while human hands can also harbor germs, they are usually lower in quantity and diversity compared to those found on flies.
If a fly is placed in a microwave, it will most likely be killed due to the intense heat and radiation produced by the microwave. The fly's body is not equipped to withstand such extreme conditions, leading to its death. It is not recommended to intentionally place living creatures in a microwave.
While it is possible for a moth to fly near your face or head, it is highly unlikely for a moth to fly up your nose. Moths are not attracted to the inside of human noses and are not equipped to navigate inside narrow spaces like nostrils.

Not Always, Sometimes They Will.
No. That is not a possibility. The Human Bot Fly lays its eggs on a horsefly or a mosquito, something that will attempt to land on a human. This carrier finds a human and lands on him or her. The eggs rub off onto the human, whose body heat hatches the eggs. The larvae drop onto the skin and burrow right in. Where they live. Under your skin. Eating.
When a fly lands on a surface it will regurgitate to get rid of the food that it has previously been on which could be anything from faecal matter to rotten flesh.

A fly does not defecate every time it lands but it is not uncommon for them to do so. They do not specifically defecate at certain times or in one place like many insects.
