What happens when you burst your ear drum?

Mild to severe hearing loss during that period can occur. You may feel nauseated and dizzy, as there's parts in your inner ear which regulate balance as well. If it happened due to an inner or middle ear infection, there might be pus or blood coming from your ear as well.
