Plants do grow in the "dark."
There are 2 phases to photosynthesis: a light phase and a dark phase. The dark phase does not necessarily mean it happens in the dark but it CAN occur during the dark. It is the metabolism of the compounds made during the light phase, the phase requiring sunlight, of photosynthesis.
Plants held in the dark too long build up cell compounds from the normal cellular pathways and create a situation called "inhibition" in which the accumulation of the cellular metabolics, the by-product, build until it causes the cell to stop normal functioning and either dies or must alter the chemistry in a manner to move those by-products out of the cell.
Plants continue to grow throughout their life. Animals grow during certain period in their life cycle. Tissue is the cause of growth in plants. While in animal cells there is a complete absence of meristematic tissues in animals.
pH level of the soil changes and it doesn't support plant growth
Though really in a separate category, you may consider lichens to be among the slowest-growing of plants. These are actually a symbiont of a fungi and an algae. Some of the slowest-growing ones are found in the Antarctic, where they are found inside rocks, and that habitat, coupled with the temperature, means these are extremely slow in growth.
Plants growing in hot and damp places?
The process of plants producing energy for growth
What happens when you have Goth plants in a row? You have GROWTH, GOTH + ROW = GROWTH.
Primary growth in plants occurs at the apical meristem.
Both humus and minerals contain nitrogen for growth of plants. Alluvial soils are rich in humus and minerals making them good for growth of plants.
Hydrophonics is the technique of growing land plants in water giving all nutrients of growth in the liquid form.
these are plants that live in tundra. tundra is a biome where the tree growth is hindered by low temperatures and short growing seasons. thankyou
Primary growth is responsible for elongating the plant. In woody plants, primary growth is then followed by secondary growth which allows the plant stem to increase in thickness or girth.
The stems will start growing in upward fashion.

Salt will have an adverse affect on most plants.
Annual (or seasonal) plants are among the fast growing plant types. They complete one growth cycle within 3 months (from seed through flower). In general bamboo plants (there are various species) are the fastest growing plants (aside from annuals), although they take a longer period to complete a single growth cycle - most of their growth is vegetative (height as well as spread) and not much emphasis is placed on the production of seed.
A greenhouse which is used to grow plants anytime than it own period growth and its enviroment like growing tropical plants in a cold place
