Just multiply it by 3600 and divide by 1000 and you will get the answer in km/hour.
3600 being the number of seconds in an hour, dividing by 1000 to get from Meters to Kilometers.
ex: 10 m/s * 3600 = 36000 / 1000 = 36 km/h

You need to know that before posting the answer above,
that contributor deleted the answer "Just multiply by 3.6".
A great example of asking "What time is it ?" and being treated
to a step-by-step explanation of how to build a clock.

∙ 11y agoTo convert 15 meters per second to kilometers per hour, we need to remember that 1 kilometer is equal to 1000 meters and 1 hour is equal to 3600 seconds. So, 15 meters per second is equal to 15 × 3600 / 1000 kilometers per hour, which simplifies to 54 kilometers per hour.

∙ 13y ago0.0166 is the conversion factor. So, 15 x 0.0166 = about 0.249 meters per second.
Alternatively, just divide the number by 60, and you will get an exact result:
15/60=0,25 meters per second.

∙ 12y ago15 m/second2 equates to 6,921,018.46 mph
The above answer is massively incorrect.
You cannot directly equate an acceleration to a speed.
One (possible) answer is 33.5541 mph/ sec
Another is 49.21279 ft/ sec2, or even 1.529574 g.

∙ 10y agoWell, you have to convert the units.
100 centimeters=1 meter
1 day=86,400 seconds
15/100 simplify to 3/20 meters (in this case you should probably use a decimal so keep it --/100
0.15 m/DAY
Now you divide 0.15 by 86,400 (divide because a second is shorter than a day, so less distance covered in a sec. than in a day)
0.00000173611 m/sec (you might want to round that or put it scientific notation.
Sorry this is taking SOOOO long but assuming you already know how to round, scientific notation is easy. Count the number of zeros away from the decimal point (if a number doesn't have one put an imaginary one there where it would go). This number has 5. Round so the number has 3 digits apart from the zeros. Move the decimal point so that the digits are like this: #.##
Then put the number of zeros up at the top like an exponent. If the number is less than one, the exponent number is negative. If not, it's positive.
So this number looks like this: 1.74-5 m/sec

120 km/h = 331/3 m/s ≈ 33.33 ms-1 1 km = 1000 m ⇒ 120 km = 120 x 1000 m = 120000 m 1 hr = 3600 sec ⇒ 120000 m/hr = 120000 ÷ 3600 m/s = 331/3 m/s ≈ 33.33 m/s
There are 1,609.34 meters in one mile. To convert 65 miles per hour into meters per second: (65 miles/hour) * (1609.34 meters/mile) * (1 hour/3600 seconds) = 29.057 meters/second.
186,282 miles per second is equivalent to 29.9792 x 10^9 centimeters per second, when converting miles to centimeters.
40 mph is equivalent to 64.37 kilometers per hour.
Speeding at 10,000 km per hour would still be equivalent to 10,000 km per hour, or approximately 6,213.7 miles per hour.
302 kilometers per hour is faster than 67.9 meters per second. You can convert 67.9 meters per second to kilometers per hour (67.9 * 3.6 = 244.4 kilometers per hour) to compare.
75 kilometers per hour = 20.83 meters per second.
23.7 kilometers per hour = 6.583 meters per second.
The speed of each meter per second is the same as 3.6 kilometers per hour. As an example, 10 meters per second is 36 kilometers per hour.
24 meters per second equates to 86.4 km per hour.
600 km per hour = 166.7 meters per second.

Meters per second x 3.6 = kilometers per hour: 3,500 x 3.6 = 12,600 km per hour
18km per hour.
To convert meters per hour to kilometers per hour, you need to divide the meters per hour value by 1000 as there are 1000 meters in a kilometer. So, the formula is: kilometers per hour = meters per hour / 1000.
