A cell membrane is a phospholipid bilayer. It is made up of a hydrophilic head(the phosphorous part) and a hydrophobic tail(the lipid part). The hydrophobic tails face inward and the hydrophilic heads face the cytoplasm and the external solution.

What are the four functions of cells that are the same in all organisms?

The four fundamental functions of cells that are common in all organisms are: 1) obtaining and converting energy, 2) replicating DNA to pass on genetic information, 3) synthesizing proteins for various cellular processes, and 4) maintaining homeostasis by regulating internal conditions.

Where is the organelle found?

Organelles are found in cells. They are the components. For example, inside an animal cell would be ribsomes and a nucleus and vacuoles and lysosomes. The material inside a ce which organelles are found is cytoplasmOrganelles are located in the cytoplasm.cytoplasmin cytoplasm

What do plant cells have that animal cells do not have?

Plant cells have chloroplasts (which make food for the plant through photosynthesis) and a cell wall. Animal cells do not; they only have a cell membrane (plant cells have a cell membrane and a cell wall).

List seven ways bacteria differ from eukaryotic cells?

bacterial cells doesn't have certain organelles like mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum etc their cell membrane is constituted by different composition of proteins& lipids they can metheolate their proteins formed so that it would be easy for them to identify the foreign particles the organelles required for respiration are formed by the cellmembrane itself their DNA is present in cytoplasm itself.i.e., they doesn't have a nuclear membrane their ribosomes are of 70s whereas eukaryotes have 80s ribosomes

What is the roll of the cellmembrane?

It protects the cell from outside forces. The cell membrane works as a selective filter that allows only certain things to come inside or go outside the cell.
