Cellular respiration is when a cell gives of energy from energy being made. Its like us breathing in oxygen and breathing out except on a cellular level. It doesn't happen in any specific cell, but in organelles like the chloroplast and the mitochondria

Cellular Respiration is the break down of carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, and fats to generate ATP molecules which are then used as energy in the cell. The molecules are oxidized with their electrons "falling" down a electron transport chain to be combined with oxygen, creating water. The electrons cre3ate more ATP and are transferred to NADP along the citric acid cycle. The electron transport chain enables the flow of H+ ions into the mitochondrial inner membrane creating a electrochemical gradient. The H+ ions then flow out of the ATP synthase where the enzyme creates the ATP molecules. This all occurs within the mitochondria.
