Commensalism is where one organism benefits but the other is unaffected. For example, barnacles attach themselves to whales which gives them a place to live, and the whale couldn't care less about this.

First of all, commensealism is wrongly spelt.the corrct spelling is commensalism.

Commensalism is a form of symbiosis. In a commensalistic relationship, one organism benefits, and the other one neither benefits or is harmed. The classic example is a bird using a tree to build a nest.
