It function is to act as a cushion and provide protect between vertebraes.

∙ 7y agoHyaline cartilage is amorphous (without much form) and is made of chondroitin and glucosaminethat surrounds cells called chondrocytes found in lacunae (like little caves). Add fibers that help add tensile strength and you will have fibrocartilage.
