I have done some research on this because I recently had a ultrasound on a mass whaich stated there was a central focal area of hypoechogenicity.
According to the Merriam-Webster online Medical dictionary, "echogenic" means: reflecting ultrasound waves
and "hypo" means: less than, below, or under
Therefore, hypoechogenicity could refer to something that does not reflect ultrasound waves well (or uniformly).
Generally, this would be a more firm or dense mass like mine.
Hopefully this helps!
a cyst with one focal point
It is called focal osteochondral lesion.
focal and diffuse are used in necropsy reports refers to what?
It holds the sample in the stage clips at the focal point.
Focal adhesions are temporal structures that attach motile cells to the matrix as they move through it while hemidesmosomes are more permanent structures that anchor epithelial cells to the underlying basal lamina.

focal length of the lens
In art a composition's focal point is actually called the focal point. There may be multiple focal points, in which case the main one is the focal point and the others are secondary focal points. You can recognize the focal point because it is somehow set apart from the rest of the composition.
It does not. For an explanation of "focal plane" see the question What is the focal plane?

Focal Point:The distance from the Lens to the Focal Point is called the Focal Point.
The focal point is the point where light converges after it passes through a concave lens. The focal length is the distance of the focal point to the lens. Same for a convex lens, except that the focal point is the imaginary point from where light deflected from lens seems to have emerged.

Wide-angle lenses have a short focal length. The focal character of my short story is a ten-year-old boy.
