Typically, a master's degree in microbiology and immunology takes about 1 to 2 years to complete, depending on the program structure and whether the student is studying full-time or part-time. Most programs require coursework, research, and a thesis or capstone project. Students with a related bachelor's degree may complete the program more quickly, while those transitioning from a different field might take longer.
