Is morphine sulphate treatment for periphial neurophathy?
The drug Morphine sulphate is not a treatment for this actual
ailment but it can be used to reduce long term associated pain.
This drug can have some unpleasent side effects and should be
started at low doses until a level of tolerence is achieved. If the
pain is constant a time released analgesic such as this could be
considered. If the Pain is less frequent, however, a Hydrocodone or
Oxycodone based non CR type medication might be more effective.
Again, always start at a low dose and increase mg dosage as, and if
needed.
