For sure protein is made from a sequence of amino acids. A polypeptide is a short protein. {Example = Insulin = 53 amino acids}. The peptide [-C-C-N-] bond is what makes a protein 'unique'.

The primary structure of polypeptides and proteins is the sequence of amino acids in the polypeptide and/or protein chain.

There's nothing called "polypeptide bond" but peptide bond, which is a bond between the amide nitrogen and carbonyl carbon of two amino acids, formed by losing one molecule of water.
