I'm a 6 foot 2, 22 year old College student and I weigh 231 lbs.
My friend who is 6 foot 1 and 21 years old weighs only 185 lbs.
Hearing that one might think that my friend and I have drastically different physical frames, but that is truly not the case. The big difference? Our lifestyles. I do my best to maintain a healthy diet and exercise routine. I typically eat 5 to 6 meals a day which comes to a total of about 3,000 to 3,500 calories. I also exercise 5 days a week focusing on compound movements, i.e. squats, deadlifts, bench press, etc., the lifts that involve multiple muscle groups as opposed to simply doing dumbbell curls.
My friend on the other hand has a drastically different diet, eating only 2 meals a day, while exercising only occasionally. Additionally, when he does exercise, he only uses machines. While I will occasionally use a machine I find it best to lift with free-weights.
The two most important things in obtaining your weight are your diet and your exercise. It's as simple as that.

Approximately 5 liters of blood in the average sized adult male. The larger the male, the more circulating blood he will have. On average, for an adult male it is near 75mL/kg and for a women 65mL/kg, so that would make it 5625mL for a man and 4875mL for a women.
