The Biblical answer is 'three score and ten'.

Three score is 3 x 20 = 60

And ten is +10

So 60 + 10 = 70 is the Biblical lifespan of a human.

However, a healthy lifestyle , food living accommodation etc., will extend this figure. Conversely a poor lifestyle , drugs, poor diet, living accommodation will reduce this figure.

reference, CIA Factbook Another answer: There are no parameteres to judge the answer, and the science alone could not be the answer. The maximum life span for a man is 120 years, but the geographical conditions the environment, wear and tear and stress and depression is not the same through out this globe, hence the variaton is much to explain and it is not essential to find it out so minutely. Another answer: How long an organism lives is called its life span. In 1998, the average life span for a human, worldwide, was sixty-six years. However, life span is a complex trait, meaning that many factors, including family history, lifestyle, disease, and residence in a developed nation, determine how long an individual's life will be. The average life span in a particular population changes as these factors change. For example, the average life span in the United States in 1900 was forty-nine; in 1998 it was seventy-seven. It depends on where a human lives, on the atmosphere, climate and how strongly the area he/she lives in is affected by global warming. The living rate in Okinawa would be higher than in Central America for humans since in Okinawa there are hundreds of sports, ways to keep fit and you wouldn't be able to find a single factory. On the other hand, in America there are cars which give out gases, unhealthy food etc. However, the majority of people would reach around the age of eighty.
