My insurance company paid 5K for it! I understand there is some type of 'disable' device built in to it so after I use it I could not donate it to someone that may not have insurance to get one! Which sucks!

They are designed for short use, once a day, and then only a few weeks after surgery.
I am using one now. It can only be use once per day for a total of 270 days. Then, it will stop working.
