Well, literally, DNA replication is DNA copying itself, and protein synthesis is producing protein molecules according to the DNA sequences.

DNA replication occurs only once in each cell generation during the S phase of the cell cycle, you might know, but the protein synthesis can occur as many times as needed.

As you know, the DNA is double-stranded. In the replication, the strands are separated creating replication fork. However, in protein synthesis, the strands are separated and mRNA is transcribed by RNA polymerase.

Protein is synthesized by special molecules known as RNA molecules(mRNA, tRNA, and rRNA), which are not needed in DNA replication.

Protein synthesis requires amino acids, whereas DNA replication requires Nucleic acids.

Does mitosis refer to protein synthesis?

no, it is producing a new cell.

Protein production is high in interphase or mitosis?

Protein production is higher in interphase, particularly during the synthesis (S) phase. During mitosis, cell division takes precedence over protein synthesis, so protein production is typically lower.

What is the difference between eukaryotic and prokaryotic protein synthesis?

There is no difference.Bacteria have 70s ribosomes.Eukariyotes have 80s ribosomes.

A period between two mitotic or meiotic divisions during which the cell grows copies its DNA and synthesizes proteins?

G1phase phase is the period during the life of a cell between the end of mitosis and the synthesis of more genetic material.

What is the product of protein synthesis?

A protein. That's what protein synthesis means.

Structure responsible for protein synthesis?

Ribosomes, are responsible for protein synthesis.

What is the role of rRNA the protein synthesis?

it hold the protein synthesis in the ribosomes

How is protein synthesis different in prokaryotes and eurkaryotes?

One way that protein synthesis differs between prokaryotes and eukaryotes is that gene groups that produce proteins are organized into operons in prokaryotes, but they are not organized into operons in eukaryotes. Also, protein synthesis in eukaryotes involves more protein and is a more intricate process than in prokaryotes.

Is protein production higher in interphase or mitosis?

Protein production is higher in interphase than in mitosis.

What cell process is controlled by by the nucleus?

Many cell processes are controlled by the various machinery present in the Nucleus. If this is on a high school worksheet it is most likely referring to mitosis or meiosis. Practically anything dealing with DNA takes place in the nucleus.

What is the center of protein synthesis?

Ribosomes play important role in the protein synthesis.
