patella and medial surface of tibia

Point of insertion refers to the location where a muscle attaches to a bone and is typically the more moveable or distal end of the muscle. It is where the muscle pulls or contracts to produce movement.
A point mutation is not a frameshift mutation. Point mutations involve changes in a single nucleotide base, while frameshift mutations involve the insertion or deletion of nucleotide bases, causing a shift in the reading frame of the genetic code.
Insertion mutations can affect many amino acids in the protein. An insertion mutation usually causes more defects during protein synthesis than point mutation because an insertion mutation will affect many amino acids in the protein.
Origin refers to the fixed attachment point of a muscle, typically the more proximal point of the muscle where it originates from a bone or other tissue. Insertion refers to the movable attachment point of a muscle, usually the more distal point where the muscle inserts onto a bone or other tissue. It is at the insertion point that the muscle exerts its force to produce movement.

patella
Sartorius is one of the Quadricep muscles. It is the only muscle that I know of that has a double insertion point. It inserts on the distal part of the hip and serpentines to the medial part of the knee where it inserts.
A point of insertion is also called the insertion point. The point of insertion is the place, or point, in a graphics program where the next character that you type will show on the screen. The point is typically shown with a vertical line that is blinking.
What is the deference between Insertion Point and Pointers?
The patella is the round bone on the anterior of the knee. You can palpate the surface of the knee and you can gently shift the patella bone side to side. The insertion of the patella bone is quadricep ligament which attaches to the proximal end of the tibia. The origin of the patella is the quadricep tendon. The quadriceps consist of four muscles: rectus femoris, vastus intermedius, vastus medialis, and the vastus lateralis.
an insertion point is where the cursor blinks and u start typing
The insertion point is directly after the last character you inserted.
If you hit the Backspace key, the insertion point will move to the left. If you press the Delete key, the insertion point will stay where it is.
To place the insertion point inside a cell in a spreadsheet, simply click on the cell where you want the insertion point to appear. The insertion point will show up as a blinking cursor inside the cell, allowing you to enter or edit text or data directly within the cell.
When you place your cursor over the insertion point it changes to the I bar.
The two attachment points are the origin and insertion. The origin is the immovable (or slightly moveable point. The insertion is the movable point. The insertion always moves towards the origin.
