I live in Sarasota, FL and my towering Rosewood tree is 40 years old and counting. It has been cut back several times.
These trees are known to have shallow root systems and will throw out massive secondary trunk like limbs.
A neighbors rosewood was also large, about twice the height of the peak of the single story roof ... and it blew over in a windstorm. It ended up leaning on the house, with its root system popped out of the ground. The house was hardly damaged at all.
Rosewood primarily comes from trees in the Dalbergia genus, such as Brazilian rosewood (Dalbergia nigra) or Indian rosewood (Dalbergia latifolia). These trees are known for their dense and beautifully patterned wood that is prized for its use in high-end furniture and musical instruments.
Rosewood trees can grow between 50 to 80 feet tall on average, with some species reaching up to 130 feet in height.
Rosewood was banned from being cut down in 1978 or 68 im not sure,so not the value of the rosewood in circulation is getting more expensive.i think, ( im not to sure) its around £50 per cubic inch.Although it is illegal to cut it down, there are propbably some rogue people out there who do still cut it down so its possibly impossible to get an accurate amount of how many trees are cut down.I hope this helps a little.Kind regards from a 20 year oldJamie ( nottingham) UK

The black Locust has a typical life span of about 20 years, much less than other tree species. Some trees live 200 years or more.
Date trees typically have a lifespan of about 100 years, although some can live up to 200 years. The productivity and quality of dates tend to decline as the tree ages. Proper care and maintenance, such as pruning and disease control, can help prolong the life of date trees.
It depends what type of tree. Most live for about 80-100 years, but some have lived for over 500!

The lifespan varies greatly among different species. Human lifespan is typically around 70-80 years, while small animals like mice may only live for a couple of years. Some species of trees can live for thousands of years.
