Annular rings are the annual growth rings displayed in the cross section of tree branches. They are formed by the reduction of vessel size as the tree's growth rate reduces in the autumn and over winter. as the vessel size becomes very small they are packed closer together giving a darker more dense collection of lignified cell walls, hence darker wood. growth rings are much more pronounced in timbers found in temperate zones where there are more pronounced seasons and colder winters, in tropical zones tree growth slows only minimally in the low season and so the tree rings are less pronounced and in some trees hardly noticeable at all. This is the reason why these trees are unfortunately highly prized for their stable and uniform grain. however trees with annular rings tend to have naturally improved strength by virtue of the rings tightly packed nature which is why softwoods grown in temperate climates are so good for structural timbers in the construction of houses and such like. tree rings are much prized by dendrologists for the study of climate change over millennia.
On the stump of a tree, each line represents one year of growth on the tree ring.
cool or dry
The rings on a tree represent the age. Each year the tree grows and so it makes a ring inside the trunk. If it was a good year for rainfall and sunlight then the tree makes a thick line and if it was a bad year like a drought then it grows little and the ring is small and thin.
The olive tree is associated with peace.
Tree rings. Each year, a new ring is formed in the secondary xylem of stem.
Annular means like a ring, or round in shape. Several things in dermatology cause annular rashes.
An annular zone is a ring of fibres on the stem of a mushroom that is not well enough defined to be an annulus.
An annular eclipse is a solar eclipse in which the thin outer disc of the sun can be seen as a ring around the moon.

According to the following website:http://www.interfacebus.com/glossary-of-terms-minimum-annular-ring.htmlMinimum Annular RingThe minimum annular ring on a plated thur-hole is the minimum amount of copper (at the narrowest point) between the hole and the edge of the pad after plating of the finished hole. MIL-STD-275E and IPC class 3 calls for a minimum annular ring of 0.05mm (0.002") edge of hole to edge of pad. MIL-STD-275E also calls out .005 inches for via to trace distance. Minimum Annular Ring; PWB Internal ViaBoth diagrams indicate minimum annular ring measured from the outside ring of the pad and to the inside diameter of the plated thru-hole for an external pad [below], or to the center of the plated via for an internal pad [above].Minimum Annular Ring; PWB External PadMinimum Annular Ring applies regardless of the shape of the PCB pad. The next page shows two examples of different pad shapes.More Printed Wiring Board Terms
An annular eclipse.
This type of eclipse is called an "annular eclipse" and the ring is an "annulus".
papilla constrictor muscle of iris diaphragm
It describes someting ring-shaped (annular).
This is seen during an "annular eclipse".
There's a slit in the back of the ring that holds the vertebral disk.
Because in homo-annular ring distance between C1 and C4(of butadiene structure in it) is less compare to C1 and C4 of heteroannular. So, in Homo-annular more overlap of pi system, more conjugation, more lamda max.
