plant cells have cell wall, larger vacuole, and chloroplast animal cells have vacuoles but they are much smaller. animal cells do not have chloroplast

I would say the most noticable difference of the two cells is that the plant cell has a cell wall which surrounds the cell and is rigid, while the animal cell does not.
