In database systems, isolation is a property that defines how/when the changes made by one operation become visible to other concurrent operations. Isolation is one of the ACID (Atomicity, Consistency, Isolation, Durability) properties.
Within a data processing system, the term 'separation of data' includes means for separating, classifying or cataloguing specific data elements in order to maintain the identity, type, or kind of data that is entered or stored within a manual or electronic system of data. It is considered a basic fundamental of proper systems design to avoid commingling of data, such as risk pools, transaction type, personal data, etc. In situations where it is desired to commingle data together, a proper system shall always maintain means for separating commingled data back into the original sources.
Because data are scattered in various files, and files may be in different formats, writing new application programs to retrieve the appropriate data is difficult.
the isolation of data from direct access by a c+ program is called as data isolation.
for phase separation
isolation due to population groups reproducing at different times.
reproductive isolation
1. When new species form.2. When a group is separated from the rest of its species.3. When members of the isolated group can no longer mate with the rest of species.
Isolation Drills was created in 2000.
* Separation and isolation of data * Duplication of data * Data dependence * Incompatibility of files * Fixed queries / proliferation of application programs
Separation of benzene from a mixture is isolation of benzene.
allopatric separation
You think probable to the separation of compounds from a mixture.
for phase separation
Isolation is the use of physical separation and strict aseptic technique for a patient who either has a contagious disease or is immunocompromised.
It is geographic isolation.
