The structure that photosynthesis takes place in is called a chloroplast in plants. However, not all photosynthesis takes place in the chloroplast. Photosynthetic bacteria for example have no chloroplast, and yet they photosynthesize. Another possible answer to this could be chlorophyll, but again there are differences; different groups of organisms use different types of chlorophyll to facilitate photosynthesis. Thus, I think that the only true answer to this question is that the Sun is THE structure that allows photosynthesis to occur. However, in modern times even this is technically incorrect, as photosynthesis can be stimulated by any suitable light source giving off light at the proper wavelength, for example; a lightbulb. So perhaps the only correct answer is that light itself is what allows photosynthesis to occur.

What structure in leaves allow the gaseous reactants and products of photosynthesis to move in and out?

stomata

Which structure in leaves allow the gaseous reactants and products of photosynthesis to move in and out?

The stoma

How does carbon dioxide get in to the leaves so photosynthesis can occur?

There are tiny pores on the leaf called stomata which allow gases in and out.

In which cell structure does photosynthesis occur?

it occurs in the chloroplast

Can photosynthesis occur without sunlight?

No, photosynthesis cannot occur without sunlight.

Why does photosynthesis occur in leaves?

Photosynthesis needs sunlight to occur. Therefore photosynthesis does not occur in the roots because they do not receive any sunlight. The leaves are the parts of the plant most exposed to the light.

What is necessary for photosynthesis to occur?

Photosynthesis requires sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide to occur.

What is the structure of leaves adapted for?

Leaves are adapted for photosynthesis, with a large surface area and thin structure to maximize sunlight absorption. Their internal structure contains chloroplasts where photosynthesis occurs, and a network of veins that transport water and nutrients throughout the leaf. Additionally, leaves have stomata to allow for gas exchange.
