Both the cell membrane and the nuclear membrane are lipid bilayers that separate the internal environment from the external environment. They both regulate the transport of molecules in and out of the cell/organelle, and help maintain the overall structure and function of the cell/organelle.
They are similar, but they are located in different places. PM's (plasma membrane) enclose the entire cell, regulating what enters and leaves the cell. NM's (nuclear membrane) enclose only the nucleus, but basically have the same structure and function.
In a strawberry to extract the DNA it is required to break down the cell membrane (both the membrane protecting the cell as well as the membrane protecting the nucleus) and pectinase and cellulase in strawberries are enzymes that are break down these membrane...at least in a strawberry.

The plasma membrane surrounds the cell and regulates the movement of substances in and out of the cell. Lysosomes are membrane-bound organelles that contain digestive enzymes to break down waste materials. Lysosomes fuse with the plasma membrane to release their enzymes outside the cell for extracellular digestion.
