Metabolically active cells have many characteristic properties. A healthy growth of cell number and cell activity is one property. Low numbers of decaying cells and active cell proliferation are other characteristics of metabolic activity.

F11 is the keyboard shortcut for creating a chart from the selected cell range
The keyboard shortcut is: Ctrl Shift *(asterisk)
Right click on the cell and a shortcut menu will appear.
To select a cell (If you are looking for the answer for an IT class.) Click on the cell using the mouse, or using the arrow keys, move the cursor to the cell you want. You could also press the F5 key and use the Goto command to go to the cell that you want to be active. You could also type its address into the Name Box. The Active Cell will show a black box around it or if it is part of a range it will be the only white cell. You'll also see the address of the Active Cell in the Name Box, beside the Formula Bar, so that you will know which cell it is.
While holding down the CTRL key, press HOME once ... Voila, back to cell A1. or Press F5 and then type A1 or any cell name like c1, c12, b2 etc... You can go to which cell you want in this way.
In Microsoft Excel, pressing the Escape/Esc key while typing in an active cell will cancel the entry.
