∙ 8y agoMost of your body is made of living cells but only a very large surface is not. This is the outer surface of the skin called the epidermis. There is now way for the body to keep those cells alive so they begin to die as they are moved up and away from the growing layers. As you move about, the dead cells fall off or are rubbed off and have to be replaced. Almost all of the 'dust' in your home is made of these dead cells.
