The theory is that the amino acids required for DNA, arrived via a comet.

Complete strands of DNA could be transported in this way.

Complete bacteria could also be contained in Meteors or comet particles, this is referred to as 'Panspermia'.

Panspermia.

And, it's not a theory. It's a hypothesis. Theory is based in fact. Current evidence suggests life started via abiogenesis in the oceans of the primordial earth 3.5 billion years ago.

(this one is a long one)

It is belived that life started due to a combination of chemicals that reacted when the lightning on earth struck the newly forming oceans repeatedly. The reaction of the electric spark, the extreme heat, and the combination of elements in the water reacted to create some of the first amino acids that bunched together to make small amounts of DNA that slowly formed very simple organisms.

The first organisms were simple, known as prokaryotes (cells with no organelles and usually single-cellular) that were anaerobic (didn't use oxygen). Eventually they evolved into prokaryotes that used photosynthesis and created oxygen. The new oxygen allowed for aerobic cells, which are what cells today are for the most part.

Later on, large cells began living symbiotically with smaller cells that preformed different functions. The large cells eventually took the smaller ones in to protect them while they preformed functions that assisted them in survival. This created the first Eukaryotes, or cells with organelles and usually more than one cell.

After that, the cells just became groups of cells that created more and more complex systems and evolved into the organisms we have today!

Explain the theory of biogenesis?

The theory of Biogenesis basically states that living things only come from previously living things and in no other way. This theory is based on all that is demonstrable, observable, and testable. It is oftten qualified by a secondary condition that is also all that is demonstrable, observable, and testable and that is that living things only come from previously living things of the exact same kind. The opposite theory called today "abiogenesis" against all that is demonstrable, observable, and testable declares that at some pont in the remote past the first of all livng things (however many varieties there were) developed from non-living things. The general theory here comes from the age old belief called Spontaneous Generation which has only been repeatedly disproven over and over in laboratory tests for the past 200 years. So being objective and open minded, and using our best Critical thinking, which theory should we lean toward and invest our research monies in? The demonstrable, ever observed, test confirming theory (biogenesis) or the non-demonstrated, never observed, test failing one (abiogenesis)?

What French chemist supplied proof for the theory of biogenesis?

Louis Pasteur is the name of the French chemist who supplied proof for the theory of biogenesis. The theory in question observes that life comes from life by way of reproduction. Experiments by the French-born chemist and microbiologist in question (December 27, 1822 - September 28, 1895) still serve as refutation of the theory of spontaneous generation.

What are the differences between abiogenesis and biogenesis?

Biogenesis is just a form of cell theory. Cells come from preceding cells and life comes from life. Abiogenesis is the theory/hypothesis that posits that life arose from simpler organic compounds. This is being experimented on but no hard and fast conclusions have been reached yet.

If they are ripe why not. Very few things need processing when it comes to fruit and vegtables.

What is the purpose of weatherstripping?

Weatherstripping relates to protecting things. It is the process of sealing openings such as doors and windows to protect them from the weather. It comes in the form of a paint.

What is reverse learning theory?

Reverse learning theory proposes that forgetting certain information can actually enhance memory recall under specific conditions. It suggests that the act of re-learning old information can reinforce memory traces and make them more resistant to forgetting. This theory highlights the importance of periodically reviewing and revisiting material to improve long-term retention.

The idea that all living things are composed of cells and that all cells come from other cells?

The statement that all living things are made of one or more cells comes from cell theory. In addition, cell theory states that all cells are the smallest, most basic unit of structure and function in all living things, and that all cells come from preexisting cells. Cell theory was developed in the 17th century by various biologists due to the creation of the microscope and continues to be significant today as the basis for biology.
