Thermoreceptors react to variation in temperature.
Practically anything can be a stimulus, so organisms can respond to them in just about any way. The definition of 'stimulus' and 'response' are a little paradoxical in this context in that a stimulus is anything that provokes a response and a response is anything done to react to a stimulus. Perhaps some examples will make it clearer: if a predator grasps a lizard's tail (stimulus) it will detach the tail and escape (response). If the weather is excessively hot (stimulus), a plant will close the stomata in its leaves to conserve water (response). If a laboratory mouse notices a new object in its cage (stimulus), it will go investigate it (response).
The skin acts as a sense organ for temperature, detecting both hot and cold sensations through specialized receptors called thermoreceptors. These thermoreceptors send signals to the brain, allowing us to perceive and react to changes in temperature.
A stimulus triggers a signal in sensory receptors, which is then transmitted through the nervous system to the brain. The brain processes this signal and initiates a response by sending signals to the appropriate muscles or glands to react to the stimulus.
stimulus
A change in behavior caused by a stimulus is known as a reflex. It is an automatic response to a specific stimulus that helps organisms quickly react to potential dangers or opportunities in their environment. Reflexes are typically innate and do not require conscious thought.
An organism reacts to a stimulus with a response that aims to maintain homeostasis and ensure survival. This response can be behavioral, physiological, or molecular, depending on the type and intensity of the stimulus.

does the same organism always react to the same stimulus at the same way
stimulus
they just do it. it is an instinkt.

stimulus
A stimulus. ("stimuli" is the plural)
stimulus
A stimulus causes your body to react, a response is something that is caused by a stimulus. Work it out, does the virus respond to you more or you to the virus?
