Aristotle classified animals according to their location, and plants according to their stems. Linnaeus, on the other hand, classified organisms according to their form and structure using a seven-level hierarchial system. However, Linnaeus' system was more accurate, being that Aristotle's system of classification was too general and organisms could be placed into more than one category.
Aristotle divided plants into three types i.e. herbs, shrubs and trees and also divided animals into two categories, those having red blood cells and those which do not contain red blood cells.
Linnaeus classified the two kingdom system i.e kingdom plantae and kingdom animalia.
Both Aristotle and Linneaus separated plants and animals. Both made further subdivisions. However Aristotle subdivided plants by size and animals by land, water, and air. Linnaeus subdivided by animal and plants having similar characteristics.
Stop trying to cheat.
Carl Linnaeus is the person that came up with the classification system that is used to name plants and animals. He was also a botanist and a zoologist.
Taxonomy.

taxonomy founded by Linnaeus
Carolus Linnaeus is known as the Father of modern taxonomy because he developed the system of binomial nomenclature, which is the two-part naming system used to classify all living organisms. His work laid the foundation for the modern classification system used in biology.
they both observed living thing's decided that any organism could be classified as either a plant or an animal. So they divided them them into groups depending on their differences and similarities and gave all living things a specific name
Carl linnaeus is the guy you arelooking for. He also discovered a system for classifying living things.
Carl Linnaeus
The first logical, consistent and scientific system for classifying living things was developed by a brilliant Swedish botanist named Carl Linnaeus in the eighteenth century. His work is still the basis of classification for all living things.
Charles Darwin
The two kingdom classification system is an older system that categorizes organisms into two kingdoms: Plantae and Animalia. This system is based on the presence or absence of cell walls and the ability to perform photosynthesis. It has limitations due to the exclusion of other important groups of organisms, leading to the development of more advanced classification systems with multiple kingdoms.
Not so much. Linnaeus started classifying plant by the differences in their reproductive organs. The broad classification by living conditions would probably split plant into water and land based plants.
