The integumentary system, also known as skin, plays a very necessary role in conserving moisture and keeping out infectious organisms. A person without an integumentary system would inevitably get moldy and die. It would be very horrible.

Integumentary system or the skin is very important for your survival. If there is superficial burn beyond 30 %, you may die with best medical care also. The chances rapidly increase beyond 50 % burn.
