i have had poison ivy for 7 days now!
it is drying up.
basically it is starting to go away when it dries up depending on how bad your case is is what the healing time depends on.
Tips to get rid of it:
put alcohol on any new or existing spot ( use new cotton ball for each spot)
use cotton balls to dab bleach on the spots (wash off afterwards with tecnu)
get calamine lotion and put it on every spot (keep it on all day)
shower with ivarest (put it on the spots, and keep it there for 4-5 minutes then rinse)
Benadryl take as much as you are supposed to take(it says on the bottle, i take it every five-six hours)
before bed mix flour salt and alcohol and 3 drops water to a thick paste. ( put it on the effected areas and sleep.
This is what has been working for me.
