DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) is the 'language' that genes are 'written in'. The DNA in the nucleus composes the genome (complete set of genes) of the organism to which the cell belongs. Thus the human genome is the genome of the DNA within the nucleus of human cells.

But DNA, in plants and other photosynthetic eukaryotes, is found composing a completely different genome within the chloroplasts. And in most eukaryotes including animals, plants and fungi, their is also a separate mitochondrial genome composed from DNA in the mitochondria. The theory of endosymbiosis explains the presence of DNA in mitochondria and chloroplasts.

Is DNA a nucleus?

The nucleus contains DNA. The DNA is found in the nucleus.

Is DNA found in cells of nucleus in?

Yes,Most of DNA found in nucleus.90% of DNA is in nucleus.

What part of the cell is dna found in?

DNA is stored in the chromosomes, which are found in the cell nucleus.

Where is DNA produced in a cell?

Strands of DNA become chromosomes, which are located in the nucleus.

What is the difference between DNA strands and DNA nucleus?

There is no such thing called a DNA nucleus. I assume you mean DNA found in the nucleus. The DNA that's found in the nucleus are many DNA strands all bunched up.

Are there any other places that DNA can be found in a cell?

No! Only the nucleus!

DNA is found primarily in the cell whereas RNA is found primarily in the cell?

DNA is less stable than RNA,hence it is used to carry genetic information, as during many cellular activities, like DNA replication, transcription, DNA as to unwind. DNA is found in the nucleus

Where are the 2 places you will find DNA in a cell?

It is found in the nucleus. the nucleus is the brain of the cell

Where in a cell would you find a genetic information?

In eukaryots, DNA would be found inside the nucleus, though other molecules that carry genetic information such as some types of RNAs can be found outside the nucleus. In prokaryotes, DNA occures both in plasmids (circular DNA other than the 'main' genome of bacteria) and DNA clumped in a nucloid, which isn't like the nucleus eukaryotic cells have. Prokaryotes also have RNA in their cytoplasm.

Where can we find the DNA?

The DNA can be found in the nucleus

What is DNA found in a eukaryotic cell?

DNA is found in the nucleus of a eukaryotic cell. It is packaged into multiple linear chromosomes, which are located inside the nucleus and contain the genetic instructions for the organism. Additionally, small amounts of DNA can also be found in other cellular compartments such as mitochondria and chloroplasts.
