the organisms could come from the heat in the broth if you boil it,cause if you boil it,it creates organisms. It will only work if you put a cap on top of the bottle you are boiling. the one with the cap on is not cantaminated. The one without the cap is cantaminated and already has organisms in it.so the organisms come from the oxygen in the one where it does not have the cap on

What was the results and conclusions of the Spallanzani experiment?

Spallanzani's experiment concluded that spontaneous generation of life did not occur. By sealing containers of meat broth and boiling them to kill any existing microorganisms, he prevented the growth of microorganisms within. This demonstrated that living organisms could only arise from other living organisms.

Which scientist showed that organisims do not grow spontaneously in beef broth?

Louis Pasteur showed that organisms do not grow spontaneously in beef broth through his experiments in the mid-19th century. He disproved the idea of spontaneous generation and demonstrated the presence of microorganisms in the air that could contaminate the broth, leading to growth.

What did people think about cell before pasteur's experiments with beef broth and S-shaped tubing?

Cells came from nonliving things.or Cells could generate spontaneously.

What did Lazzaro Spallanzani contributes to microbiology?

He repeated John Needham's experiment in which nutrient fluids (Chicken broth) was put into a sealed flask then heated. The nutrient medium could be stored and microoganisms did not arise from it. This experiment disproved the Spontaneous Generation and paved the way for Pasteur's research. Spallanzani was largely criticised under claims that microorganisms needed oxygen to survive. He was also a pioneer in the fertilization an experiment which he produced with frogs. :) hope that helps.

Who heated broth in sealed flasks?

Louis Pasteur was the scientist who demonstrated that microorganisms in broth could be killed by heat. He conducted experiments with sealed flasks to show that the growth of microorganisms did not occur when they were exposed to heat.

How did Pasteur's experiment show tht bacteria do not arise in broth?

He demonstrated that new bacteria appeared in broth only when they were produced by living bacteria. The experiments of Redi and Pasteur helped to convince people that living things do not arise from nonliving material.

How did Pasteur's experiment differ from spallanzanis experiment?

Pasteur's experiment refuted the theory of spontaneous generation by demonstrating that microorganisms in broth were killed by heat and could only enter through the air. Spallanzani's experiment involved boiling broth in sealed flasks to prevent microorganism entry, concluding that the lack of spontaneous generation was due to the lack of vital force rather than the absence of air.

Why is broth sterlized?

Broth is sterilized to kill any microorganisms present in the liquid, ensuring that the medium is free from contamination. This is important for culturing and studying bacteria, as any unwanted organisms could interfere with experimental results.

What was the purpose of the s-shape neck in pasteur's experiment?

The purpose of the s-shape neck in Pasteur's experiment was to prevent microorganisms from contaminating the sterile broth in the flask while still allowing air to circulate. The curve in the neck acted as a barrier, trapping any airborne particles that could carry microorganisms, thereby demonstrating that spontaneous generation of life did not occur in the broth.

How could you separate the solid ingredients from the broth?

You can use a strainer or a cheesecloth to separate the solid ingredients from the broth. Simply pour the broth through the strainer or cheesecloth into a separate container, leaving the solids behind. Alternatively, you could use a ladle to skim off the solids from the surface of the broth.

Why the miller-uray experiment have not proven that life could have risen from nonliving materials?

The Miller-Urey experiment did not accurately simulate Earth's early atmosphere. Additionally, the experiment produced a mixture of organic compounds, not living organisms. Life is incredibly complex and likely required many more steps beyond what was demonstrated in the experiment.

What could an archaeopteryx be described?
