While most cell biologists consider the term organelle to be synonymous with "cell compartment," other cell biologists choose to limit the term organelle to include only those that are DNA-containing, having originated from formerly-autonomous microscopic organisms acquired via endosymbiosis.

An endosymbiont is any organism that lives within the body or cells of another organism

I am not exactly sure, but i think organelles made when a cell is made, or reproduced. Organelles are a nesscesity of cells and just come when a cell is made.

There is a theory that organelles in eukaryotic cells may be from more primitive cells. The reason for this is that some organelles have their own DNA.

What happens in cytokinesis?

The cell divides into two daughter cells, and each daughter cell gets an equal amount of organelles.

Why is it necessary for the organelles to double during interphase?

Interphase precedes prophase and metaphase. Metapase is associated with cell growth and division. When cells divide, there should be enough organelles and genetic material to support both the daughter cells formed. Therefore, it is essential the organelles double so as to divide equally into the daughter cells.

Do the mother and daughter cells compare?

yes mother an daughter cells are human cells.yes mother an daughter cells are human cells.

Which kind of cells have organelles?

Eukaryotic cells have organelles.

Where are organelles in cells?

Organelles are found in the cytoplasm of cells.

How do the daughter cells produce by mitosis compare to the original cells?

Pretty much the same save possible replication errors and uneven distribution of organelles.

What are animals that use organelles called?

Animal cells use organelles (so do plant cells). Cells with organelles are called "eukaryotic" which means these are cells that have a nucleus (which is one of the organelles).

Where are organelles found in cells?

Organelles are found in the cytoplasm of cells.

What organelles are not shared by plant and animal cells?

As a result of mitosis all daughter cells are identical and so all organelles are replicated and so divided into daughter cells. The same is true of meiosis, though some organelles are lost in the sperm cell during embryogenesis

Plant cells and animal cells contain organelles?

yes animal cells and plant cells do have organelles

What organelles do plant cells have that animal cells don?

Plant cells have certain specialized organelles that animal cells do not need. These organelles are the cell wall and chloroplasts.

How many chromosomes are in the daughter cell in meiosis II?

The four daughter cells of meiosis II are haploid, so they will have half the number of chromosomes as the diploid parent cell. In humans, there are 46 chromosomes in the diploid body cells, and 23 chromosomes in the haploid daughter cells of meiosis II. In females, one of the four daughter cells will contain the most cytoplasm and organelles, and will form an egg cell. In males, all four daughter cells will form sperm cells.
