The largest we know of is 1ft. 3 1/2 in. across.

We have one that is 1' 8 1/2 in across and 1'4 1/2" long

My father-in-law framed his 24&1/4" leaf this fall 2011

I think in America it is in Harrisburg,pa off a road called linglestown rd and behide a company called bowers carpet. its about 700 years old and the trunk has to be about 6ft wide
