The "bust" refers to your chest. It typically refers to the female breasts, but in sculpture it can refer to the area from head to chest on males.
It is called a "bust."
boom-or-bust
you are slightly pear shaped! If your hip measurement was less than 34" and your waist measurement was less than 26", then you may be considered as an hour glass figure. You do not have these ideal measurements. Alas, you are a pear! Maybe you should try losing some weight! That is ridiculous. Body shape is not about particular measurements it's about ratios. The person above does not understand math. Hourglass body shape is defined as having similar hip and bust measurements and waist that is at least 9-10 inches smaller than the hips (hip to waist ratio of around .7). Pear shapes are when your hips are much larger than your bust measurements. 32D means you have an approx. 28" rib cage(right under the breast) thus the 32 band size and a D cup means you have a 4 inch difference between your band size and bust size. Therefore you have an approx. 36" bust measurement(measured over the fullest part of breasts). Thus your measurements are 36-27-36. You are most definitely NOT pear shaped. Your hips are exactly the same as your bust. However, there is nothing wrong with pear shaped women - in fact a lot of studies show that to be one of the most healthy shapes. If your shoulders are small than you are probably an hourglass, and if your shoulders are much broader than your hips you are most likely an inverted triangle or wedge. Not everyone fits perfectly into body shape categories tho - and who cares - you are unique. I doubt you need to loose weight - those are healthy measurements.
22inch waist,34inch hips and 31 inch bust
