The plant cell is more complex. This is because unlike the animal cell the plant cell has a cell wall and chloroplasts. The cell wall gives the cell shape and a "suit of armor" (protection). The chloroplasts contain chlorophyll which is responsible for the photosynthesis of a plant.

Animal cells use more energy because unlike plant cells, animal cells can move at any speed and it also runs and walk to retrieve food. This puts more strain on the animal cells than on the plant cell :)

A plant cell is not necessarily better than an animal cell.. they just have different organelles and properties that make them unique. For instance, the cell wall of a plant cell makes it more rigid. The animal cell does not have a cell wall. There are a few more organelles and cell parts that make them different from one another, but most of them are the same.

Perhaps the plant cell is a little bit better because it has chloroplasts and it makes its own food. If we had chloroplasts, we could get food from them. We wouldn't have to eat.

It depends on your definition of "powerful." It is harder to destroy a plant cell than an animal cell because the plant cell has a cell wall. Animal cells do not have a cell wall.

it always depends on size...but most likely it is an animal that has more cells because they are normally bigger and more complex.

Do animals and plants have cells?

Totally, there are definitely cells in plants and animals, but they are very different. In a plant, the cells are in a square shape. In animals, the cells are round. Hope this helps you whoever you are lol!

Why do you think cells are so specialized and complex in plants and animals?

Cells are so specialized to carry out all the complex functions in animals and plants.

Are plant cells more efficient in carrying out its functions than animal cells?

No, Plants are not more efficient. Animals are more efficient because they coordinate by hormones and CNS ( Central Nervous System ). But plants coordinate only by hormones, therefore animals are more efficient.

Where do cells live?

The cells live in the live bodies of both the plants and animals. The cells can only live in the bodies of the live animals and plants.
