There are a number of contenders for the position of smallest cell in the human body, but here is what I have been able to uncover so far:
Human Sperm Cell - 5 x 3 micrometers. The flagellum is up to 50 micrometers long.
Human Granule Cell; a cell in the cerebellum, hippocampus, olfactory bulb (relays smell information to the brain) and the cerebral cortex - one source sites 10 micrometers; another sites 4-4.5 micrometers.
Red Blood Cell - a cell responsible for distributing oxygen in the body measures 4.5-8.5 micrometers. The red blood cell is, however incapable of reproduction as it lacks a nucleus. All of its energy is needed to bind oxygen to hemoglobin to keep all of our cells alive, so when it is generated in the bone marrow and released into circulation, it loses its nucleus.
One highly recommended book for studying cell biology is "Molecular Biology of the Cell" by Bruce Alberts.
The cell is the smallest unit of life. It is the basic structural and functional unit of all living organisms.
Which is the smallest living cell which lacks cell wall and can survive without oxygen
The science that deals with the formation, structure, and function of cells is called cell biology or cytology. Cell biology focuses on studying the basic unit of life, the cell, to understand its processes, functions, and interactions within living organisms.
a cell. it is the basic component off all matters.
Species is the smallest level of classification in biology.
Biology is the scientific study of life and cell are the smallest living thing ever discovered. If an organism has life then its constitute parts are made up of cells.if you see an living organism you will suppose that it s boby has cell and if you think that its biology
The cell is the smallest unit of life. Since cells are present in all aspects of biology, knowledge about cells is necessary for solving the world's biological problems.
Biology of the Cell was created in 1962.
cell biology because cell biology deals with the all organelles in a cell and a nucleus is one of the organelle of the cell

Journal of Cell Biology was created in 1955.
The Biology of the Cell Surface was created in 1939.
Nature Cell Biology was created in 2005.
Cell Biology International was created in 1977.
