When a human cell is under low oxygen conditions, energy is generated via anaerobic respiration. This is respiration without the use of oxygen.
Anaerobic means:living, active, occurring, or existing in the absence of free oxygen, orrelating to, or being activity in which the body incurs an oxygen debt
The electron transport chain is aerobic because it requires oxygen to function. Oxygen is the final electron acceptor in the chain, allowing for the production of ATP through oxidative phosphorylation. In contrast, anaerobic processes do not require oxygen and can occur in the absence of oxygen.
The human heart can typically survive without oxygen for about 20 minutes. After this time, irreversible damage can occur leading to cardiac arrest and possible death. Immediate medical intervention is crucial in such situations.

The exchange of food, oxygen, and wastes occurs in the cell through various cellular processes such as diffusion and active transport. This exchange happens at the cell membrane, where nutrients and oxygen are taken in, and waste products are eliminated to maintain cellular functions and homeostasis.
Anaerobic processes occur when there is no oxygen present, such as in anaerobic respiration or fermentation. These processes result in the production of energy without the need for oxygen.
Fermentation can occur in the absence of oxygen. This process allows for the production of energy in the form of ATP without the need for oxygen.
Aerobic respiration is performing something with oxygen. Anaerobic is only performing the same action but without and oxygen.
Processes that do not use oxygen are anaerobic processes. Some examples include fermentation, anaerobic respiration, and certain types of metabolism that occur in environments with low oxygen levels. Anaerobic processes typically produce less energy than aerobic processes.
The opposite of anaerobic is aerobic. Anaerobic processes occur without oxygen, while aerobic processes require oxygen.
You take in oxygen and you exhale carbon dioxide.
Respiration and photosynthesis are interconnected processes that rely on each other. Photosynthesis produces oxygen and glucose, which are essential for respiration to occur. Respiration, in turn, produces carbon dioxide needed for photosynthesis. Keeping these processes balanced ensures a stable level of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, which is crucial for the survival of plants, animals, and other organisms.
The lowest amount of oxygen a human can survive on is approximately 10% oxygen concentration. Below this level, hypoxia (oxygen deficiency) can occur, leading to symptoms such as dizziness, confusion, and eventually unconsciousness if not corrected.

Both processes require Oxygen. Rusting (I think) is where metal reacts with oxygen and moisture and becomes oxidises. Burning or combustion, ALWAYS needs Oxygen to occur. Hope this helps!

The conditions necessary for rusting are water (or water vapour) and air, specifically Oxygen. If one condition is absent and the other is present then rusting would not occur but if both are present then rusting will occur
