Michel Adanson was a well-known French naturalist. Naturalists work in the field of natural history. He lived from 1727 to 1806.
The Natal Mahogany tree (Trichilia emetica) grows in open woodland and riverine bush fr om Sudan to Kwazulu-Natal. Deciduous and of medium height, the bark is characterisically rough and black. The milky latex can cause severe irritation to the skin and eyes. Adansonia digitata, or Baobab tree, was named in honour of Michel Adanson, the naturalist who first saw it in Senegal, Africa about 1750. The Jackalberry tree can grow very tall, up to 80 feet, with a trunk circumference of 16 feet. Most trees don't grow that tall, however, and heights of 15 to 18 feet are more usual.

You can do this by viewing a polymerase chain reaction. The PCR is used to amplify DNA fragments and then are drawn through a gel using an electrical field which seperates the frangments into bands of differing lengths. That process is called electrophoresis. The bands can be visualized with dyes and compared to the DNA evidence left at the crime scene.
