Well I wondered the same thing a while back and upon researching ran across one of their drummers, Wally Gator Watson. I emailed him through his website and asked if he was the drummer for this song. He said no, Bernard Purdie recorded that song. So there you have it, from a very reliable source!
Wally was actually being modest when he answered you. Mr. Purdie was the drummer on that recording, but Wally also contributed to that recording on the drums. Wally had just started playing for the Stairsteps. His first gig with them was at the Cheetah Club in NYC the night before they actually recorded O-o-h Child. They had Wally play as well so his name could be on the recording. I know about this because Wally and I were very dear friends for many years and were actually working on his memoirs together before he died. That story is in his memoirs. Wally spent the last 20 years or so of his life drumming for the Lionel Hampton Orchestra. Wally died in September 2010, and Mr. Purdie, whom I've never met but whom Wally had tremendous respect and admiration for, now drums for the Lionel Hampton Orchestra. The story seems to have come full circle.
No, Rosalind Franklin was the second of five children in her family.
The safe dose of Taxim-O (cefixime) for children depends on the child's weight and age. A common recommended dose for children aged 6 months to 12 years is 8mg/kg/day given in two divided doses. It is important to consult a healthcare provider for the correct dosage based on the child's specific condition.
Yes. Someone is type A if their alleles are either Ia and Ia OR Ia and Io. Having either combination will yield someone's blood group as type a. Suppose both parents have the latter combination Ia and Io. Using a punnett square, there is a twenty five percent chance that the child will get Io and Io (type O blood).
The five-carbon sugar in DNA is called deoxyribose.
