If there was an incomplete set of chromosomes, then there is defects within the cell itself. Proteins are made from the DNA held within the chromosomes, and if segments of DNA is missing, then proteins will also be either missing or incomplete. And proteins are essential to living.

Chromosomes are found in the nucleus of a cell and the function of chromosomes is to hold the genes (made form DNA) and to replicate the genes when a cell divides.
In the chromosomes, which are in the nucleus of the cell.
The number of chromosomes found in a sex gell depends on the organism discussed. The number of chromosomes in a sex cell is half the number found in the body cells. Human body cells have 46 chromosomes, their sex cells have 23.
Chromosomes normally occur as homologous pairs in a diploid cell. These refers to matching pairs of chromosomes which are found in the cell.
A sex cell contains half the number of chromosomes found in a somatic (normal) cell. Therefore a human sex cell would contain 23 chromosomes.
In a plant cell, the chromosomes are found in the nucleus.

Chromosomes are found in all cells. They are found inside the nucleus of the cell.
DNA is stored in the chromosomes, which are found in the cell nucleus.
46 chromosomes will be found in a human daughter cell after mitosis, 23 chromosomes will be found after meiosis.
Both, chromosomes are found in most eukaryotic cells.
yes that is correct a diploid cell does have chromosomes found in pairs

Chromosomes are the organanized form on DNA found in a cell. hope this helps(:
