I think you have it the wrong way around. Living things are made of Atoms Which are in the scheme of things considered non living things. Living thing are all however made up of atoms because all material things are made up of various arrangements of different atoms. The reason for this has always been a matter of conjecture.
You are making a false distinction here. Both living and non-living things are made up of atoms and molecules. The cell has proven to be a very powerful type of biological design, which has been an evolutionary success. That is why living things are made up of cells.
Maybe I am really not sure 50percent chance
Yes, atoms are the building blocks of everything, including living things.
Yes
Yes. If you count dust that is. Air itself is inorganic, hence, no cells in plain air.Cells are living things. There are no cells in the air. Air only contains atoms and molecules.
No. Only living organisms have cells. Although stalagmites and stalactites appear to grow, it is not due to the reproduction of cells or living organisms. Stalagmites and stalactites are composed of atoms which are connected into molecules. They are made of the same things as any other rock.
Cells are made of molecules, molecules are made of atoms, and atoms are made of energy. :) Hope I helped!!
*Molecules-They are made from fused elements-They are nonliving*Cells-They aren't made from fused elements-They are living-Also, are made of many parts like the cell membrane and Mitochondria the make the cell work and do things
Pure water contains no cells whatsoever. Water is composed of molecules.
paritcles Neither. Atoms are the building blocks of molecules and are not alive. Cells are the building blocks of all living things.
Cells are living things. There are no cells in the air. Air only contains atoms and molecules.
Cells.
A cell is a living thing which is the basic unit for life. All living things are comprised of these cells. On the other hand, a molecule is composed of atoms covalently bonded to one another. Since cells are comprised of atoms (and molecules) without groups of atoms, there are no cells, thus no living organisms such as you and I.
Yes. If you count dust that is. Air itself is inorganic, hence, no cells in plain air.Cells are living things. There are no cells in the air. Air only contains atoms and molecules.
The building blocks of living things are cells and of non-living things are molecules.
Icicles are not living things. This is because they are made of molecules (water molecules), not cells.
Nonliving THINGS do not contain cells, however ALL THINGS, whether living or non-living, do contain atoms.
Cells can't be cells without atoms. Atoms are the building blocks of things we see around us. Except atoms are NOT living things. Cells are the building blocks of living things. There are trillions of cells in our body. There are over 200 different kinds of cells.(blood, skin, muscle, nerve, aka) Our cells supports our body.
No. Cells only exist in living organisms. materials are made out of billion and billion of atoms and molecules.
atoms, but more specifically cells, all known living things are cells or made of cells
atoms
