Dwarfs and midgets are different. Midgets is a mean name given to people who arent as tall as everyone because they either have inherited genes from their parents that are short or they havent fully developed yet and have to get older before having a growthspurt.

It has been used in the past to mean little people whose bodies are proportionate with dwarf being those who have unequal body parts when compared to the average person--larger head, etc. They are all dwarfs or little people or LP or person of short stature.
