Organelles consist of the nucleus, cell membrane, cytoplasm and vacuole. The nucleus is responsible for cell reproduction and controls all activities in the cell. Without a nucleus, the damaged cells would not be repaired. For the cell membrane,it is partially permeable and hence, it controls all substances moving in and out of the cell. And thus, without the cell membrane there would be no control of substances moving in and out of the cell. For the cytoplasm, it contains chemicals and carry out many chemical reactions. Without the cytoplasm, chemical reactions would not be able to take place in it. Lastly for the vacuole in animal cells, it stores dissolved nutrients and mineral salts. Whereas in plant cell, the vacuole stores nutrients and mineral salts needed by the plant. Thus, these organelles are important to support all the living organisms directly or indirectly in an ecosystem.
