Men and women have the same number of nerve endings in their nipples, and they are both connected to the same brain region. One might argue that a man's is more sensitive because on average men have smaller nipples, but generally speaking they feel the same.

∙ 10y agoThe biological function of the female nipple is to allow a baby to breast feed. The nipple is sensitive so that it can signal the mammary gland to secrete milk, when a baby is suckling. This process is also mediated by hormones, but there is a reinforcing effect if there is also tactile stimulation of the nipple.
