Plants CAN survive without the help of animals. Animals play a part in a plant's life by either two ways: seed reproductive transport (1), or/and fertilizer(2). For transportation, animals, such as birds, can help by eating a berry off of a berry plant. When they travel away from the area and produce waste from the foods, the seed droppings are in the waste material, which lands onto soil and soon another berry plant will grow. The other ways is a little more complex; plants, for example, grass, can get their soil more nutrients by having other animals such as cows to produce more waste. This manure contains rich ingredients to help the grass grow better. Overall, plants CAN survive without the help of animals. But if they DO get help, such as transport or soil nutrients, they have more chance of living longer.

Can animals survive without plants?

In general, animals cannot survive without plants because plants are the primary producers of energy in most ecosystems. Animals rely on plants for food and oxygen, as well as for habitat and shelter. Without plants, the entire food chain would collapse, leading to the extinction of many animal species.

Neither plants nor animals can?

Neither plants nor animals can survive without water. Water is essential for all living organisms to carry out basic functions such as metabolism, growth, and reproduction. Without water, both plants and animals would quickly perish.

State the importance of water to plant and animals?

Water is essential for the growth and survival of plants and animals. Water is a key component in photosynthesis, the process by which plants make food. In animals, water is essential for digestion, transportation of nutrients, and temperature regulation. Without water, both plants and animals would be unable to survive.

Can we survive without plants for sustenance and oxygen?

No, humans cannot survive without plants for sustenance and oxygen. Plants provide oxygen through photosynthesis and are a crucial part of the food chain.

Is it possible for us to survive without plants and animals.?

We eat plants and animals. The animals we eat have to eat plants. So, it is safe to say that without them we would starve. In the food chain - plants are at the very bottom of the hierarchy. Plants are believed to feed from the nutrients found in the biological matter (humus) in soil. Animals eat the plants, and so consume the stored nutrients.Since we are animals - some people believe we can simply consume only the plants and live healthy lives. People doing this are called Vegans. Other people believe that we do not need to eat animal flesh (meat) but do require certain elements of our diet from animals, such as eggs from chickens or milk from cows. These people are named Vegetarians. In the animal kingdom, species that eat only plants are called herbivores. Animals that eat only meat of other animals are called carnivores. Animals that eat both plants and meat are called omnivores.

Yes. Mankind could not survive without them.

What is better plants or animals?

no one in this world can answer this question . No animal can survive without plants and no plants can survive without animals because animals get their food to eat, air(oxygen) to breath from plants and many more, and plants also need air(Carbon Dioxide) to breath, nutrition from soil, etc.

Could animals survive without plants?

No because animals eat plants so if animals didnt eat plants the plants would die unless watered.

How do plants survive without water?

Plants have the ability to retain water because of a special structure called a cuticle.

Can plants and and animals survive without bacteria?

No. They could not under the current regime of life on Earth. Bacteria, in their symbiotic, detrivorous, and other roles are critical to the life functions of plants and animals. If all bacteria were to die out, it is likely that everything living on the planet would die out. Oddly enough, the bacteria could survive without animals or plants.

Why is it so difficult for plants and animals to survive in deserts and tundra?

there is not a lot of water.. therefore the plants dont survive and the animals also do not survive.
