Tears wash out our eyes to get out dirt or anything harmful. When something like an eyelash gets in your eyes, have you noticed how you might start tearing up? That is your body's way of trying to get it out.
I've answered a few other questions kind of similar to this but getting sick is a very tramatic and violent thing to have happen, and its VERY unpleasant. When a person throws up there are lots and lots of signals going through your body... body parts relaxing like sphyncters and your esophogus, muscles contracting (surprisingly your stomach doesnt actually contract!) and lots of other things. Eyes watering is very normal. Just before you get sick you might notice that you start to salivate, your mouth gets a lot more wet, your heartrate will increase you start to sweat you may shake and your eyes water. You salivate more just before you get sick because its your body's way of protecting your teeth's enamol against the highly acidic stomach fluids. Sometimes it can come through your nose. Do you ever notice when you cry for example your nose starts to run? Well that's because there are little tubes and they do connect to all those other big openings like your nose... your mouth etc and I'm willing to bet that being that getting sick is so violent that your eyes water because fluids get forced up through those tubes... tear ducts. hope this helps

You can gently wash off the eyes with salt water. My cat's eyes tear up when I haven't vacuumed in awhile. Once I've cleaned, they seem to clear up. Do not give any medications to your cat. They are very sensitive and so just a vet should recommend pills.

Well,If you are outside and the wind blows into the direction you are looking, it will make your eyes tear upbecause the wind is so strong. Some times the water in your eyes builds up and holds it for such a long time, that they just fall out.The only other reason would be that you are sad about something! :)
when you are tired your tear ducts are drying up thus they make your eyes itchy as they are not getting the lubrication they need so you rub your eyes. Dr. Nicole Smith, Md
